The pageant identified was held in 1979. Miss Turks and Caicos is official national franchise holder of Miss Universe pageant. As of December 2012, under the direction of Kazz Forbes and the Saint George Fashion House (SGFH) in partnership with the Turks and Caicos Tourist Board, the Miss Universe Turks and Caicos franchise has experienced an exciting re-branding. Its aim is to advance and support today's beautiful by nature ladies while promoting passion for pageantry with a purpose. By creating an environment that is conducive for learning through training, exploring, researching and discovering myriad experiences, the board members challenge contestants to bring out their personal best.
